Powers John's Lane 12 Year Cask Strength (57.8%)

This is a twelve-year-old cask strength Irish whiskey, made by the distillers at Midleton Distillery in Cork. It arrived twelve years after Powers John's Lane was first introduced and is released in batches each year. The edition recalls the 18th and 19th century John's Lane Distillery, when Powers whiskey was sold straight from the barrel at cask strength. The first release, in 2023, was bottled at 57.8%. Soft pot still spices are central to the Powers style, and here they are more intense.
