Raasay – Na Sia Unpeated American Rye Cask (60.9%)

An unpeated single malt Scotch whisky from Raasay, bottled at 60.9% after maturing in American ex-rye whiskey casks. The casks come from Woodford Reserve Distillery in Kentucky, where the mash bill contains 53% rye. Such casks are known to give the malt pepper, spice and butter flavours. Na Sia is released in alternate years as a peated and an unpeated spirit, and this is the unpeated version.
