Rebel Yell Cognac Barrel (70cl, 45%)

Rebel Yell Cognac Barrel is an American whiskey finished in cognac barrels, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The Rebel Yell name goes back to William Larue Weller, who began distilling in 1849. He is said to have been the first to use wheat rather than rye alongside corn, for a softer flavour. His company later merged with another distillery to become Stitzel-Weller. The Rebel Yell brand was created in the middle of the twentieth century and was in time sold across the United States. Billy Idol's song of the same name made it widely known.
