Redbreast 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1 (70cl)

Redbreast 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1 is an Irish whiskey from the Midleton Distillery, reworked by Master Blender Billy Leighton and Blender David McCabe to mark the 30th anniversary of Redbreast's re-birth. It was released in 7,000 bottles. Pot still distillates are blended with oloroso sherry butts and bourbon casks. The nose combines tropical fruits and red berries with herbs, warm wood spices, vanilla and treacle toffee over toasted oak. On the palate come ripe stone fruit and summer berries, chilli oil, cherry menthol, vanilla and cinnamon, with red pepper and nutmeg. The finish balances fruit with spicy wood.
