Redbreast 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Redbreast 12 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% vol. It is made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, distilled three times in copper pot stills. The whiskey matured for at least twelve years in a vatting of American ex-bourbon casks and first-fill oloroso sherry casks from Spain. The nose brings ripe summer fruit, baked apple and citrus alongside toasted wood, nuts and warm spice. The palate is creamy, with fruit sweetness, vanilla, ginger, allspice and white pepper, leading to a long finish of oak spice and creamy fruit.
