Redbreast 18 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey from the Midleton Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matures for at least 18 years in first-fill and second-fill bourbon casks together with Spanish sherry casks.
It is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The nose is intense, with ripe fruit, spice and nuts alongside fine sherry tones. The palate is full and rich, with dried fruit, vanilla, honey and a hint of oak. The finish is long, soft and gently warming, with spicy and fruity notes.
