Redbreast Lustau Edition Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Redbreast Lustau Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It came from a collaboration between Bodegas Lustau and the Midleton Distillery. The whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. It is matured in a combination of American oak barrels that previously held bourbon and Spanish oak butts that previously held Oloroso sherry. The nose is spicy and fruity with toasted wood. The palate is full flavoured and silky, balancing spice, fruit, sherry and toasted notes, and the finish is long.
