Redwood Empire – Foggy Burl Single Malt Whiskey

Redwood Empire Foggy Burl is an American single malt from Northern California, made from a mash bill of 100% malted barley that includes more than seven different types of malt. The barrels are aged in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast. The name comes from the Coastal Redwood Foggy Burl, a tree near Tall Trees Grove that collects 40% of its water from the fog each year. The nose is toasted malt, caramel and subtle oak. The palate has vanilla, dried fruit and a hint of spice, and the finish is long, with gentle warmth and lingering sweetness.
