A Haitian agricole-style rum made from pure sugar cane juice and matured for 15 years in Limousin white oak barrels. It is released in limited quantities from the family's private stock and is intended for sipping.
The nose shows dried apricot, fig, prune, dark caramel, oak spice, vanilla and toasted nuts. The palate is smooth and full, with caramel, toffee, cooked fruit, warm spices, oak and a touch of chocolate or tobacco. The finish is long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, oak tannins, spice and a subtle dryness.
