River Rock Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

River Rock is a Highland single malt matured in former bourbon casks. It is bottled at 40% without added colouring, and the shop tags it as chill-filtered. In a 70cl bottle. The aim behind it was a malt that is sweeter and more inviting than most, without harsh flavours or burn. Each bottle is made from reclaimed glass that would otherwise be thrown away when glassmakers change colour, so no two bottles are quite the same shade. It is described as having a pleasant sweetness, followed by a spicy oak finish.
