Royal Tiger Sherry Cask Indian Single Malt (75cl, 43%)

A limited single malt from India, made by Master Distiller Craig Henriques at the family estate in Goa. It is distilled from six-row barley grown in the Himalayan foothills and bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The whisky is first matured in charred American white oak, then finished in imported Spanish sherry casks. The nose is usually described as sweet, with vanilla, caramel, ripe fruit, malt and gentle oak. On the palate, caramel and vanilla sit alongside delicate fruit sweetness, malt and a rich sherry-cask character. The finish is rounded and lingering, with sweet malt, fruit, caramel and seasoned oak.
