Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old is a bourbon made by Jimmy and Eddie Russell at Wild Turkey. It is bottled at 45% ABV and is non-chill-filtered.
The whiskey was aged for ten years in heavily charred American oak barrels, the deep Alligator #4 char, from a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley.
The nose has vanilla, caramel, butterscotch and maple syrup, with light citrus peel and a background of oak and leather. The palate is medium-bodied, with caramel, toffee, vanilla, spiced oak and gentle rye spice. The finish is warm and moderately long, with oak tannins, cinnamon, clove and a hint of dried fruit.
