Saburomaru SAB. Night Black is a smoky Japanese blended whisky, made by combining malt and grain whisky. It is an original bottling from Saburomaru Distillery in Tonami, offered in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. It belongs to the SAB series of smoky blends, launched on 12 December 2024. The design takes its cue from Tonami at night, with mountains and trees standing as dark silhouettes under the moon and stars. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose brings woodsmoke, fresh wood and black pepper. The palate is soft, with bitterness, pepper, ash, wood and earthy peat, and the finish stays smoky.
