Sakurao Sauternes Cask Finish is a Japanese single malt bottled at 50% ABV. It is a limited edition that was refined for 18 months in a Sauternes cask.
The Sakurao distillery stands between land and sea in the small town of Hatsukaichi, where the whiskies mature under the influence of sea winds. The Sauternes finish is said to give soft, fruity notes of apricot, pear and apple.
