Sakurao Single Malt is a Japanese whisky made in the Hiroshima region and bottled at 43%. It was matured in American oak casks that previously held bourbon and in European oak that held sherry.
In the glass it is bright amber with golden glints. The nose brings ripe pear and apple, citrus, a faint floral note, vanilla and honey. The palate is soft and velvety, with sweet fruit, creamy malt, and cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long, with light sweetness and toasted wood.
