Sall GLØD 3.2 is a three-year-old single malt from Sall Whisky Distillery in Denmark, and the second release in the GLØD series. It is a single farm whisky, with each bottle traceable back to the field where the barley was harvested.
The whisky was matured in bourbon, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and is bottled at 52.2% in a 70cl bottle. The series is built around fortified wine casks, which shape both the flavour and the colour of the spirit.
Deep notes of caramel, raisins and prunes are described, alongside a light, fresh character with citrus.
