Sanraku Ocean Gloria Ship Bottle Silver Version (30cl, 43%)

Gloria Ocean is a Japanese blended whisky bottled at 43% in a 300ml ship-shaped bottle, here in the silver version. It was made by Sanraku Ocean, and the label describes it as a blend of malt and grain whiskies. During the 1980s the Ocean distillery released Gloria in a wide range of bottle shapes. The ship bottle was among the least produced of them, and the silver edition is said to be rarer than the version in the ordinary glass bottle. A good share of the malt in the blend comes from Karuizawa.
