A limited-edition Venezuelan rum based on the house's 1796 triple-aged Solera rum, finished in American oak casks previously used to age a rum-based infusion of premium Arabica coffee beans. No added sweeteners or artificial flavouring are used.
The nose has lightly roasted Arabica coffee, dark chocolate, toasted almond, soft vanilla, mature oak and dried fruit. The palate is medium- to full-bodied and silky, with coffee, brown sugar, cocoa nibs, caramel and gentle spice. The finish is long, smooth and layered, with coffee-cocoa echoes, warm oak spice and soft warmth.
