Sauvignon IGT from Casale Del Giglio has a fresh, recognisable profile based on the typical character of the grape variety.
The nose shows herbaceous notes and white-fleshed fruit, with light citrus hints. On the palate it is savoury and dry, with a balance between acidity and structure.
It suits seafood starters, light fish dishes, salads and mildly spiced vegetarian dishes, and is best served cool but not ice-cold and drunk young.
