Scarabus 30 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled by Hunter Laing as Limited Edition No. 2. The distillery behind it is not named, and Hunter Laing describes the whisky as bold and honest about its Islay origins. It spent thirty years in first fill bourbon casks and is bottled at 43.6% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Intense maritime notes and Islay peat come together with sea salt and smoked ham, while the bourbon wood adds toffee, vanilla and citrus. The finish is long and soft.
