This is a 12 year old single malt from Islay, bottled for Sea Shepherd, the marine conservation organisation founded in 1977. It is bottled at 53.4% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration and without added colour.
The nose is smoky with peat, a salty sea breeze and a subtle sweetness of vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with strong peat smoke, a touch of seaweed and spicy notes. The finish is long, smoky and carries a light salty freshness.
