Sea Shepherd Islay Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is an Islay single malt made in collaboration with the marine conservation organisation Sea Shepherd. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Made in Scotland and distilled twice, it is strongly smoky in character. The nose is salty, maritime smoke with fine citrus notes. On the palate the smoke is dominant but softly integrated, alongside salty sea notes and ripe citrus, with a restrained sweetness. The finish is long, with aromatic smoke and maritime, spicy notes.
