This is a 15-year-old single cask Highland single malt from Secret Highland Distillery. It was distilled in October 2008 and bottled in October 2023 from a sherry hogshead, at a cask strength of 54.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is waxy, with herbs, citrus and honey, a note of semi-dry white wine, cold ash, green apple, berries, clove and cinnamon. On the palate there is a dry honey sweetness with herbs, light sherry fruit, a splash of apple cider and berries, and cool smoke with a coastal character. The finish is peppery, with green and yellow apples and a touch of ash. The smoke is not dominant.
