Michter's uses the sour mash process, and this whiskey combines new charred oak with toasted French oak. The nose is cornbread, toasted oak and orchard fruit. The palate is full and textured, with spiced honey, baked apple and toasted rye. The finish is long and steady, with vanilla, clove and seasoned wood.
