Shinobu 10 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt whisky with a 10-year age statement, finished in Mizunara oak. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is led by fresh wood, with a touch of vanilla and flowers, nectar, maltose, a little citrus fruit, Mizunara oak and coffee beans. The finish is medium and woody, returning to the sweetness of maltose.
The spirit is soft on the palate for its age and easy to drink.
