Shinobu Koshi-No is a Japanese pure malt whisky from the Shinobu Distillery in Niigata, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It blends whiskies matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then adds the influence of Mizunara oak. The result is described as a smooth, small batch whisky. The flavour starts with subtle fruit and nuts from the bourbon and sherry casks, followed by spicy and floral notes from the Mizunara.
