A Japanese single malt from Shizuoka, distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2025 by Blackadder at six years old. It was matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel, number 864, which gave 189 bottles under the Raw Cask label.
The character is led by bourbon-cask sweetness: vanilla, caramel and coconut alongside jammy tropical fruit such as yellow peach and apricot. Subtle bakery notes of bread, barley and biscuit and a hint of flowers sit underneath, in a viscous, elegant style.
