Potstill K is the first release from Shizuoka Distillery, a single malt made entirely from Japanese barley. It came out in mid-2022. The spirit was distilled in the only remaining pot still from Karuizawa. It matured for a little over three years in bourbon casks and was bottled at 55% ABV. Just 2,500 bottles were filled, all intended for the Japanese market.
