Shizuoka Prologue K is a Japanese single malt and the first release from the Shizuoka distillery. It was distilled in a still that came from the closed Karuizawa distillery, equipment the Shizuoka owners bought when they founded their own site. The malt is half imported and half home-grown. After three years in bourbon barrels, it was bottled in December 2020.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
