Silvio Carta Grifu Limù

Grifu Limù is a Sardinian gin from the Silvio Carta house, built around fresh Mediterranean character and a strong citrus presence. It uses wild botanicals gathered on the island, some growing close to the sea, together with a local endemic variety of sage. The citrus fruit comes from the house's own botanical garden. The botanicals are infused fresh, soon after harvest, which keeps their green, aromatic qualities and gives the gin a soft, velvety texture. The nose is led by lime and mapo, with aromatic herbs, floral notes, green pepper and cardamom. The palate is dense yet smooth, with fresh citrus over Mediterranean plants, and a long, cool finish with a hint of mint.
