Slainte Vatted Malt #1

Slainte Vatted Malt #1 is a blended malt made from Islay and Campbeltown whisky. It was bottled in memory of a very special person who died far too soon. The vatted malt spent several months in a 30-litre Cognac cask. It was created with care as a rich, aromatic whisky, the way that person would have liked it. The nose offers salty sea notes, gently sweet peat and plenty of malt. On the palate come fresh barley, toasted oak, soft island smoke, honey and a touch of baked fruit. The finish brings more smoke and a little pepper.
