Smoke Wagon Rare and Limited 'The First 10' Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

Smoke Wagon Rare and Limited 'The First 10' is a cask-strength straight bourbon from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas, in a 750ml bottle. It commemorates the first ten barrels the distillery ever filled. The bourbon is about nine years old, matured in new American oak and bottled without dilution. It uses the corn, rye and malted barley recipe the brand is built on. Each numbered batch runs to around 170 bottles, and the strength shifts a little from one batch to the next. Tasting notes describe caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with a lift of spice on the nose. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with dark fruit, honey and baking spice over deep oak. The finish is long and warming, with peppery warmth and lingering vanilla.
