Smokehead High Voltage Islay Single Malt (70cl, 58%)

Smokehead High Voltage is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit is a deep amber, and the lightly tinted glass makes it look a little darker still. The smoke is present but restrained on the nose. On the palate it adds richness and depth, like an old coastal hut, before vanilla, toffee, caramel and honey join in. The smoke never fully fades and lingers in the mouth long after the last sip.
