Smokehead Rum Cask Rebel is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Smokehead, a brand of the independent bottler Ian MacLeod, in a 70cl bottle. Smokehead whiskies are all distilled on Islay and focus on smoke.
This one was first matured in former bourbon casks, then finished in rum casks from the Caribbean. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The flavour is described as fiery peat smoke with burnt marshmallows and caramelised fruit.
