Smokehead Terminado is a peated Islay single malt from Ian Macleod, finished in tequila casks. It sets the smoky character of Islay against the influence of a cask that once held tequila.
The nose is led by fiery peat and wild agave. On the palate, smoke mingles with chewy meringue, and citrus fruit runs together with sweetness.
