This is a 17-year-old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage as number 16 in its 100 Proof Exceptional Casks edition, at 57.1% ABV.
It matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and is bottled unfiltered, with no added colour.
Dark chocolate, roasted nuts and firm wood spice mark the nose. The palate is bitter chocolate and oak with a fine nuttiness, and the finish keeps warm dark cocoa and woody spice.
