Springbank – 10 Year Old 2015 Fino Cask Matured (70cl, 55%)

Springbank 10 Year Old 2015 Fino Cask Matured is a Campbeltown single malt, distilled in July 2015 and bottled in October 2025 at a cask strength of 55% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth release in the five-part Sherry Wood Series. It is natural in colour and not chill filtered. The spirit spent four years in refill bourbon hogsheads, then six years in fresh American oak Fino sherry hogsheads. The nose is maritime and salty, with damp wool, green apple, dried grass, a mineral note like wet pebbles, a little earthy peat smoke, toasted almonds and lemon zest. The palate is oily and coating, with sourdough bread among the first flavours.
