Stagg Jr Batch 1 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, and the first batch of the Stagg Jr series. It comes in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at 67.2% ABV (134.4 proof), uncut and unfiltered, so the barrel selection reaches the glass at its natural strength. The nose brings rich chocolate, caramel and bold rye spice. The palate is powerful and full, and the finish is very long, with cherries, cloves and smoke.
