Stagg Jr Batch 2 is the second batch in the Stagg Jr series, a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 128.7 proof (64.35% ABV), and each batch is a separate barrel selection with its own natural strength.
The nose brings chocolate, brown sugar, caramel and bold rye spice. The palate is rich and full, showing the high-rye Buffalo Trace character at full strength. The finish is long, with cherries, cloves and smoke.
