Starward Fortis is an Australian single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was first released in 2020.
The whisky is matured in 100% American oak ex-wine barrels, mostly sourced from Barossa Valley wineries where they held shiraz and cabernet. Some of the barrels were charred to add complexity, while others are fresh, which brings an intense red wine flavour.
It is not chill-filtered.
