Starward Nova is a single malt from Australia, matured entirely in Australian red wine barrels. The barrels come from wineries local to the distillery, which make shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. It is bottled at 41% in a 70cl bottle.
Nova is described as Starward's signature single malt. The nose offers red berries, dark chocolate and orchard fruit, and the palate is creamy and nutty with a touch of tannin. The finish is long, with red fruit gradually joined by a little oak.
