Stauning El Clásico is a Danish rye whisky bottled at 45.7% abv. After maturing, the rye spent further time in vermouth casks, a nod to the pairing of rye and sweet vermouth in the Manhattan cocktail.
The colour is a deep amber. The taste is warm and intense, with freshly harvested grain, and the aftertaste is sweet and spicy with a bittersweet edge and a touch of bitter botanicals.
