Stauning – Kaos Danish Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Stauning Kaos is a Danish whisky from a distillery on a fjord on the west coast of Denmark, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The barley and rye used at Stauning are grown within 3km of the distillery, and it is one of a small number of distillers that malt their own rye and barley. The malting machine was designed by the founders and built by a local blacksmith. Kaos is described as combining a little smoke, a little spice and sweetness, with complexity and structure.
