Stauning – Kaos Triple Malt Whisky

Stauning Kaos is a Danish whisky made by blending rye and malt whiskies. It takes its name from Thorvald Stauning, the first Social Democratic prime minister of Denmark and founder of the modern welfare state. The nose is smoky and spiced, with chocolate, oak, caramel, cinnamon and bonfire smoke. On the palate it is like a smoky chocolate bar, with nougat, caramel, liquorice, sweet apples and oak. The finish is long and smoky, with vanilla, orange, tobacco, dried red fruit and more oak.
