Stauning Røg is a smoky Danish whisky from the country's west coast, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is made from malted barley and malted rye, both malted on the floor at the distillery itself. The malt is dried over heather and peat. The whisky matures in American oak and is finished in Madeira casks. It is described as soft, spicy and balanced, with gentle smoke, roasted grain and a restrained fruit sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
