Stauning Rye Sweet Wine Cask is a limited edition Danish rye whisky bottled at 46% ABV, in a run of 2,909 bottles. The rye spent up to two years in first fill Marsala, Gewürztraminer and Ramandolo casks. Stauning makes its whisky from local ingredients, with floor malting and double distillation over open fire. This edition is described as unusually fruity, with the aroma and flavour of freshly baked apple pie and the sweetest late summer.
