Stauning Rye Whisky is a Danish rye malt whisky made from 100% locally sourced, floor-malted Danish rye and barley. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has freshly baked rye bread, wine gums, a little pepper, vanilla and citrus peel, with a touch of menthol. On the palate come gentle dried fruit, ripe cherry, peppery oak, and a balance of vanilla and citrus.
The finish is long, smooth, fruity and sweet, often with a lingering peppery note.
