Stauning – Smoke Danish Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 47%)

Stauning Smoke is a Danish single malt, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It is a mildly smoked whisky made from local ingredients, with the malt smoked over peat and heather harvested near the distillery. The barley is malted on open floors, double-distilled in small flame-heated pot stills and aged in first-fill wine and spirits casks. It is described as elegant, with a gentle smoky taste and a character that recalls the dunes, the heath and the wind off the North Sea.
