A mildly smoked single malt from Stauning in West Jutland, Denmark, bottled at 47% ABV. It is made from local Jutland malting barley smoked over locally harvested peat and heather.
The barley is floor malted, and the spirit is double distilled in small pot stills over open fire. It is then matured in first-fill wine and spirit casks.
The smoke is gentle, and the whisky is described as evoking the dunes, heath and wind by the North Sea.
