Suntory Crest 12 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky, introduced in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It blends malt and grain whiskies, each aged for at least 12 years, in American oak, sherry and Mizunara casks. The whisky has a medium honey-gold colour and an oily texture.
The nose is described as apples, baked apple, pear, oak, honey and biscuits with a touch of warming spice. The palate is rich and creamy, with honey, cream, vanilla, butter and apple. The finish is medium to long, with tannic oak and peppery spice, ending dry and warming.
